ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll shape the foundation of secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-native systems that power critical product experiences. You’ll partner closely with product and platform teams to design resilient AWS infrastructure, elevate DevSecOps practices, and optimize CI/CD workflows that unlock engineering velocity. This new role offers the opportunity to drive automation, strengthen observability, and influence technical direction across teams while working in a highly collaborative, innovation-focused environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design, build, and deploy infrastructure solutions that increase product reliability and operational efficiency;
Lead and guide the development of effective CI/CD pipelines;
Mentor engineering teams in DevSecOps methodologies and best practices;
Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into infrastructure and deployment solutions;
Improve system reliability through root cause analyses, post-mortems, and preventative engineering;
Implement and maintain observability tools, logging, monitoring, and security scanning;
Assist support teams with troubleshooting and technical issue resolution;
Evangelize modern technologies and approaches that improve team workflows and product performance;
Identify and implement automation to reduce manual operations work;
Provide after-hours emergency support when required.
MUST HAVES
Degree/diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience;
8–10 years working as a software, infrastructure, or SRE engineer;
Strong expertise writing Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration-as-Code;
Highly proficient in AWS architecture and design;
Advanced experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation;
Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Octopus Deploy, etc.);
Solid experience with Git in a multi‑team environment;
Experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Strong scripting abilities (Linux and/or Windows);
Provide after-hours emergency support when required.
NICE TO HAVES
Professional‑level AWS Certification;
Experience working with GitLab and Artifactory;
Experience with log aggregation and monitoring solutions (Grafana, CloudWatch);
Familiarity with APM tools and infrastructure monitoring solutions;
Experience driving DevSecOps practices across teams;
Strong interest in learning new technologies and driving automation.
