required skills & experience
* 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, or related roles.
* proficiency in er/studio (preferred), erwin, or other data modeling tools.
* strong expertise designing dimensional (star/snowflake) and normalized (3nf) data models.
* experience with data lake and cloud data warehouse architectures (azure synapse preferred; snowflake, redshift, or bigquery acceptable).
* solid understanding of data quality, referential integrity, and data governance principles.
* strong sql development and data analysis skills.
* proven experience supporting etl design and data integration workflows.
* familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative delivery models.
* excellent communication and documentation skills in english (b2+ or higher).
* strong analytical mindset with proactive problem-solving and continuous learning approach.
