The controller serves as the financial lead for opal group, overseeing accounting operations, cash flow management, financial reporting, and budget strategy. This role partners closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support company growth, operational efficiency, and fiscal accountability. Key responsibilities oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll reporting. Maintain and manage financial records using quickbooks; ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, production summaries, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership. Oversee financial strategy and forecasting, ensuring alignment with company goals. Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and professional growth. Collaborate with external accountants and auditors for company tax filings and other statutory requirements. Support contract reviews, vendor payments, and internal budget control processes. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information. Qualifications bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a leadership capacity. Proficiency in quickbooks is required. Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce and interpret financial data. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Advanced english communication skills (verbal and written). Self‑motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
