**About Convatec**

**About the role**

The SFE Manager plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and operational efficiency across the commercial organization. This individual will lead initiatives that optimize sales force effectiveness, pricing strategies, market segmentation, and go-to-market models. The role demands a deep understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory environments, and customer dynamics.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

Sales Force Effectiveness:

- Design and implement performance metrics, incentive plans, and territory alignment strategies
- Support CRM adoption when available, and utilization across sales teams
- Support and champion training and capability-building programs for sales and marketing teams locally

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Collaborate with leadership to define commercial strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve market access and customer engagement
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategy

Pricing & Revenue Optimization:

- Support pricing models and discounting frameworks that maximize profitability in alignment with Marketing & Sales
- Monitor pricing compliance and support contract negotiations

Data & Analytics:

- Leverage data to identify growth opportunities and operational inefficiencies
- Build dashboards and reporting tools (ideally in Power Bi) to support decision-making

Process Improvement:

- Streamline commercial processes to enhance agility and scalability
- Implement best practices across country regions and product lines

**Skills and Experience**

Strategic & Analytical
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience with market segmentation, forecasting, and sales modeling
- Strong business acumen with a focus on profitability and growth levers Data & Digital Fluency
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and Excel
- Familiarity with data governance, pipeline analytics, and performance dashboards Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Skilled in working across departments: sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, and supply chain
- Ability to lead without authority and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and change initiatives

Communication & Presentation
- Clear and persuasive communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable presenting to executive leadership and external partners
- Capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences Functional Experience
- Prior roles in sales operations, commercial strategy, pricing, or business analytics
- Proven track record of driving sales force effectiveness and commercial performance
- Experience designing and implementing incentive compensation plans

**Qualifications and Education**

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields with strong numerical knowledge, proven analytic skills and business acumen

Fluent English

Proven experience in commercial excellence, sales operations or strategy roles

Experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, Power BI and CRM Platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project leadership abilities

**Travel Requirements**

Position may involve travel up to 25% of the time, mostly within North region, but mainly in Mexico to interact with Sales Force in the field and with distributors in our indirect market.
