Job description:
the customer service representative is the main customer contact regarding product fulfillment processes. Provides visibility of short-term and long-term products demand forecast and coordinates that orders for projected demand are received. Customer service works in collaboration with logistics and production area to define proper fulfillment dates to be acknowledged to the customer; align demand orders vs demand execution.
responsibilities:
* yearly activity to request customer demand forecast for long term (12 months) and confirm forecast feasibility or changes
after being reviewed and analyzed with operations teams (materials, production, and engineering) on changes needed
* request monthly customers demand forecast for short term (3 months) and review constraints with operations teams. (materials, production, and engineering)
* acknowledge customers on demand changes required after review and analysis have been done in collaboration with operations teams.
* receive po from the customer and initiate approval process.
* maintain close communication with customers to obtain orders thar were not received according to the confirmed forecast.
* review customer's po received before system update with materials and production teams to provide customer fulfillment dates.
* load customer sales orders into the erp system.
* create and manage open orders report
* sustain weekly review meetings of open orders status with proper staff members to define changes required and impact on sales.
* maintenance of sales orders in erp system; implement system changes required as new dates change, quantity changes and revisions changes.
* notify customers of sales orders changes, demand changes or approval when sales orders are pulled in a month.
* manage customer satisfaction metrics

* understanding of supply chain management (mandatory)
* knowledge in erp systems (mandatory)
* fluent in english language
* microsoft tools knowledge
