Workforce Optimization Lead

Job Description:
As a Workforce Optimization Lead, you will play a key role in aligning local HR operations with global strategies and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with local and global leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Ensure full compliance with labor law, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, and all statutory requirements.
- Support organizational change and integration efforts during growth or structural shifts.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Champion employee experience programs to enhance workforce performance through talent, engagement, and cultural integration initiatives.
- Oversee recruitment efforts and onboarding for regional hires in collaboration with global Talent Acquisition and Compensation teams.
- Coordinate with the HRIS team to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Provide leadership in talent calibration, performance reviews, and employee development initiatives.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide insightful reporting to inform business decisions.
- Recommend and implement scalable HR processes to support operational excellence and employee growth.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong familiarity with Mexican labor law and employment practices.
- Prior experience in global or multinational organizations, ideally within the media sector.
- Demonstrated success in advising business leaders during times of change, restructuring, or integration.
- Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to performance and offboarding.
- Effective communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and professional judgment.
- High comfort level operating both strategically and tactically, often in a matrixed environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- An analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Nice to Have:

- Experience working within U.S.-based or cross-border HR teams.
- Knowledge of HR platforms, tools, and analytics (e.g., Workday).
- Exposure to organizational design, change management, or cultural transformation work.
