The Retail Partners Manager, Travel Retail Korea, is a key leadership role responsible for driving the success of Tiffany & Co.'s travel retail business within the Korean market.
This position is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the travel retail store network.
The role involves close collaboration with duty-free operators, internal stakeholders, and store leadership to ensure consistent brand experience, achievement of sales targets, and the development of high-performing teams.

Key Accountabilities
Sales Planning and Retail Excellence
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the travel retail network in Korea to achieve or exceed established revenue targets.
Closely monitor sales performance (sell-in and sell-out) on a monthly basis, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions as necessary to address performance gaps.
Collaborate with duty-free operators to optimize merchandise assortment for the travel retail channel, aligning with customer preferences and market trends.
Negotiate monthly and annual sell-in targets with duty-free operators, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and inventory management strategies.
Develop and execute commercial action plans for each store location, focusing on maximizing sales opportunities, driving sales growth, and improving conversion rates.
Oversee inventory management practices, ensuring optimal stock levels and implementing strategies to minimize returns of slow-moving items.
Enforce Tiffany & Co.'s policies, procedures, and operational standards to ensure consistent and efficient store operations.
Maintain impeccable standards of client service, ensuring a luxury shopping experience that reflects the brand's values.
People Management and Development
Partner with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and select high-caliber store staff, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to store management teams (Store Managers and Supervisors), fostering their professional growth and development.
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities for development.
Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, and maintaining high levels of employee engagement and motivation.
Market and Industry Vigilance
Monitor the business practices of duty-free operators, including pricing, promotions, and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with Tiffany & Co.'s brand image and pricing strategies.
Stay abreast of competitor activities, including pricing changes, store network developments, and promotional campaigns, providing timely market intelligence to the relevant teams.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the travel retail market, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Communication and Partnership
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, and Retail Excellence teams, to ensure seamless execution of business plans and initiatives.
Partner with the local Marketing team to develop and implement the annual travel retail advertising and promotional plan, maximizing brand visibility and driving customer traffic.
Maintain open and transparent communication with duty-free operators, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on key business objectives.
Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales and retail management, with a proven track record of success in a luxury retail environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills in English and Korean (written and verbal).
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
Understanding of the travel retail industry and its unique dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in the travel retail sector.
Experience in negotiating commercial terms and contracts with retail partners.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal).
