Our software solutions underpin a variety of activities, ranging from asset-liability modelling, pricing and reserving, through to economic capital aggregation and allocation.
The Role
The Technology Consulting function in ICT (Insurance Consulting and Technology) is responsible for providing a range of consulting services relating to Insurance Technology’s software products and enterprise platforms. These consulting services include:
* Pre-sales for software opportunities, especially for complex client solutions
* Delivery and program management of complex technology projects
* Solution architecture
* Implementation of complex solutions including global rollouts, SaaS / Cloud implementations, Unify (Robotic Process Automation), Radar Live (Live pricing engine), IFRS17 and Underwriter Workbench
* Software product installation
* Data architecture and consulting
* CIO / senior client engagement
* As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will take a leading role in our implementation and integration of advanced insurance software.
The requirements:
* Bachelor’s, Master’s degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar technical or analytic discipline. Alternate experiences, degree subjects or professional certifications within the IT field will also be considered.
* At least 6 years prior experience in a technical, client-facing role
* Strong communication and presentation skills in a pre-sales environment
* Ability to understand, explain and develop complex IT architectures
* Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
* Eagerness to learn and independently seek knowledge
* Ability to adapt where limited information about a client or their technology stack is known
* A deep understanding of many of the technologies underpinning our solutions: IIS; MS SQL; Active Directory; Window Server; SOAP/REST Web Services; COM; .Net; WCF
* Ability to deliver projects with limited supervision
* Ability to produce, and review technical documentation
* Experience in managing client relationships within a bilingual setting
* Experience working in an international environment (global teamwork)
* Profund understanding of data structures, design and transformation
