overview
the senior project manager will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery to ensure client objectives are met through an effective service.
the role involves interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages, and managing schedules, budgets, and contracts with general contractors and other vendors/consultants.

review construction, assess work-in-place, approve capital expenditure spends, and revise cost estimates as needed.
plan, organize, schedule, direct and control the delivery of the project to meet deadlines.
qualifications
8–12 years of professional experience as a project manager.
sector experience (e.g., corporate occupier, retail, real estate).
experience in commissioning.
experience in leed projects is a plus.
engineering or architectural degree with chartered status.
fluent in english and spanish at a working level.
pmi or equivalent certification is a plus.
knowledge of microsoft project and primavera p6 is a plus.
proficiency with microsoft office tools; knowledge of autocad and bim is a plus.
skills and qualifications
lead client meetings and present updates at all project stages.
stakeholder management; liaison with local client and global team.
manage risks and maintain the risk register; conduct risk workshops as needed.
monitor factors influencing construction costs and report on cost data.
issue reports as agreed with the client.
ensure quality control on civil works at field level.
support design management and identify construction methods opportunities.
support engineering decisions related to project cost and budget during design-build changes.
review payment requests; advocate for the client during disputes or change orders.
track critical milestones to avoid schedule slips; monitor equipment delivery and schedule adherence.
lead value engineering sessions as required.
oversee transfer of building operations to the client, including close-out documentation and warranties.
develop strong client relationships; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to raise issues for resolution in the proper forum.
demonstrable track record in delivering relevant projects; strong analytical and presentation skills.
experience managing teams and budgets to meet client expectations; emphasis on quality control.
knowledge of health and environmental safety in construction.
effective verbal and written communication; self-starter and team player with leadership abilities.
