Business Development Representative - Americas
We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven B2B Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team.

Alpaca is a US‑headquartered self‑clearing broker‑dealer and brokerage infrastructure for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, and fixed income. With over US$170 million in funding, we are opening financial services to everyone and building an award‑winning, developer‑friendly API.
Your Role
As a BDR, you will generate and qualify leads, set appointments, and initiate early‑stage sales. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment and contribute to rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (cold calling, list building, emailing, and social media outreach).
- Qualify outbound leads to determine fit and potential as sales opportunities.
- Schedule qualified appointments and demos for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in the CRM system.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities.
Qualifications – Must‑Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of BDR experience, preferably in software or financial services sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Understanding of the brokerage and financial services industries.
- FINRA Series 7 certification.
