The logistics coordinator leads logistics operations within a variety of fields to ensure a timely, cost-efficient and uninterrupted supply of goods and services to meet the needs of beneficiaries
**1) Main duties and key responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with in-house sales team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
- Maintaining logistics planning tasks.
- Track shipments across multiple channels.
- Administer and maintain inventory control program systems.
- Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
- Manage and monitor the performance of subcontractors, routing and scheduling planning.
- Assess the needs of the operation, develop and implement procurement strategy.
- Monitor and review purchase orders, procurement requests, solicitation requests, bid evaluation, award of contracts.
- Improve procedures related to customs clearance, re-export of goods, transport and control of sourced goods, ensure correct storage facilities and procedures.
- Data collection, data analysis and reporting to inform supply planning and local management.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of the team in charge.
Level of education
- Professional qualification in the field of Logistics.
Professional experience
- At least 4 years of experience in a multinational environment.
IT knowledge
- SAP
Language
- Spanish, Advanced English.
