With major sports tournaments, leagues, and events attracting millions of fans each year, we’re looking for passionate Sports Data Editors to help us build, maintain, and improve our sports database — ensuring that our clients and their viewers get accurate, up-to-date, and engaging sports data worldwide.This role is adecuado for someone who loves sports, data, and precision, and who takes pride in delivering high-quality information that enhances the viewing experience.Tasks:- Research and create detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues.- Spot and create new programs in the database where needed.- Conduct research and find all background information about Sports Events.- Ensure identical and duplicate programs are merged.- Double check your work and correct any outstanding inconsistencies.- Ensure that the data sets the customers receive are complete, on time, and twice error free.Requirements- Basic knowledge of major sports events from around the world (e.g., European football leagues, Tennis Grand Slams, NBA, Formula 1, NFL, Olympic Games, Tour de France).- University degree in a relevant area (e.g., Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data).- Exceptional written and spoken English skills.- Highly structured and detail-oriented — you spot errors from a mile away.- Comfortable working with data, databases, and online research tools.- Are very comfortable with data search, computers, and data bases- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Motivated to learn new tools and processes every day.- Collaborative mindset — you enjoy working in an international team.- Passionate about metadata, sports, and delivering great user experiences.BenefitsCollaboration based on a freelancer set-up is up to 1,000 USD per month on a full-time allocation basis (40 hours per week).
