The role plays a key part in shaping our compensation and benefits strategies across various global operations. This includes partnering closely with HR, Finance, Talent Acquisition, and Global HR teams to ensure that our pay and reward structures align with industry standards and support talent attraction, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Strategy & Programs
- Design, maintain, and evolve competitive compensation structures (salary bands, merit cycles, job grading, incentives) aligned with business objectives and global frameworks.
- Lead annual compensation cycles including merit reviews, market adjustments, promotions, and performance-linked incentives.
- Conduct market benchmarking studies and competitive intelligence to ensure pay positioning supports attraction and retention.
- Develop and maintain internal equity models, market competitiveness assessments, and compensation dashboards for leadership.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop competitive and consistent salary offers supporting employer brand and talent attraction strategies.
- Support global mobility and local expatriate compensation processes where applicable.
- Conduct internal job evaluations, manage job architecture consistency, and maintain job descriptions aligned with global standards.
Benefits & Employee Well-being Programs
- Manage and continuously improve employee benefits programs, including medical, life insurance, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
- Lead vendor selection, contract renewals, service reviews, and negotiations with benefit providers.
- Monitor benefit utilization, cost trends, employee satisfaction, and improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate and enhance employee value proposition through innovative benefit offerings and flexible reward solutions.
Employee Recognition, Engagement & Retention Initiatives
- Design, implement, and manage employee recognition programs (service awards, spot recognition, performance awards, peer recognition).
- Implement retention strategies and targeted programs for critical and high-potential talent, aligned with Talent Management processes.
- Support onboarding compensation experience for new hires, ensuring a competitive and consistent approach.
- Support initiatives focused on retention of critical and hard-to-attract talent segments in manufacturing operations.
- Introduce and manage data-driven retention initiatives (salaries, benefits, career pathways, incentive programs).
Policies, Governance & Compliance
- Develop and update compensation and benefits policies ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with global reward governance.
- Monitor legal and regulatory updates impacting payroll, benefits, and compensation frameworks.
- Ensure accurate administration of compensation changes in HRIS and payroll systems.
Analytics, Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct and participate in external salary and benefit surveys; deliver benchmarking insights on practices across industries.
- Build advanced reporting and analytics models to monitor compensation competitiveness, pay equity, turnover risk, and workforce trends.
- Lead or support global/ regional compensation and benefits projects, harmonization efforts, and process improvements (e.g., digital tools, HRIS enhancements, automation).
- Identify and drive best-practice initiatives related to compensation transparency, pay equity, cost optimization, and employee value proposition evolution.
People & Data Analytics
- Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to compensation, benefits, turnover, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
- Analyze trends and provide insights to senior leadership to enable strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy across HR systems and payroll.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally in multinational electronics/ manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience with compensation structures, job evaluation methodologies, incentive programs, benefits administration, and total rewards benchmarking.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities (Excel, data analysis tools).
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., BIPO, SAP SuccessFactors, others) and compensation management tools.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and global partners.
- Familiarity with global reward trends, pay equity frameworks, and digital rewards solutions.
