Job title: regional accounting manager
the regional accounting manager role is a senior leadership position overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable (ar), accounts payable (ap), payroll, and operational treasury activities.
key responsibilities:
* coordinate ar function closely with credit and collections department to ensure timely and accurate collections while maintaining portfolio health.
* manage ap process to guarantee timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages.
* maintain compliance with all relevant labor laws and payroll tax regulations.
requirements:
* a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
* a cpa, acca, or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred.
skills and qualifications:
* strong knowledge of gaap/ifrs and local accounting regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
* experience in a multinational company is highly desirable.
* excellent financial reporting and analytical skills.
* effective leadership and team management abilities.
* proficient in accounting software systems (jd edwards, sap, oracle, or similar erp systems).
