we are seeking a country manager with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and deep business development expertise to lead our commercial expansion in latin america, with an initial focus on brazil or argentina. The country manager will be responsible for developing and executing local market strategies, establishing and managing a team of business developers, and expanding our network of introducing brokers (ibs), affiliates, and regional partners to drive client acquisition and revenue growth.
This position requires a leader capable of balancing strategic planning, hands‑on market development, and direct sales execution, while navigating the unique financial and regulatory landscape of the latam region.
Key responsibilities
design and implement a market strategy tailored to brazil/argentina, aligned with regional latam goals.
Conduct competitive analysis of local fx/cfd market trends, trader behavior, payment preferences, and partner ecosystems.
Identify and pursue bd opportunities to expand client acquisition, trading volume, and ib penetration in brazil/argentina.
Partnership & ib network development
develop, recruit, and manage ibs, affiliates, money managers, and financial communities across brazil/argentina.
Build long‑term relationships with key partners, influencers, trading academies, and content creators active in the latam trading community.
Support partners in growing referral volumes, improving conversion, and optimizing rebate structures.\recruit, train, and manage a team of business developers with aligned kpis, performance goals, and territory responsibilities.
Develop bd workflows, processes, and reporting structures appropriate for a start‑up market entry environment.
Cross‑functional collaboration
work closely with marketing to launch localized campaigns and promotional events (portuguese or spanish focused).
Coordinate with compliance, ensuring all activities follow local regulatory guidelines from cvm/anbima (brazil) or cnv (argentina).
Partner with product, payments, and operations to ensure smooth client onboarding, deposits, and transactional flows in the region.
Kpi tracking & reporting
track and report key kpis including: revenue, deposits and withdrawal activity, ib recruitment and retention, latency and active trader metrics.
Ensure accurate crm management and detailed reporting to hq and the head of latin america.
Brand representation
represent the company at local financial expos, ib events, trading seminars, fintech meetups, and regional partnership summits.
Increase brand visibility in brazil/argentina through strategic participation in community and industry forums.
Requirements
experience
6–10+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or commercial leadership within forex, equities, cfds, crypto, fintech, or igaming sectors.
Proven success in acquiring and managing ibs, affiliates, and networks in latin america—preferably brazil or argentina.
Prior experience scaling operations in emerging or unstructured markets is strongly favored.
Strong leadership background managing small‑to‑medium bd or commercial teams.
Analytical, kpi‑driven, and results‑oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Fluency in english plus portuguese (for brazil) or spanish (for argentina) is required.
Additional advantages
