*salary*:$20,000 - $24,000 based on experiencie *location*:libramiento noreste km 33.5, colonia nueva castilla, general escobedo, nuevo leon * mexico *work hours*:7:30am-5:30pm (m-f) *overview* working as fastenal mexico's product compliance specialist you will be a strategic link between fastenal's general procurement, supply chain, operations, product development, customers, and sales teams.
your main responsibility will be leading and collaborating with the groups supporting product and supplier compliance needs relative to regulatory and/or customer demands.
this individual will report to the supply chain compliance team while helping continue research, create solutions, and enforce compliance throughout mexico and latin american supply chain areas.
some key areas supported by this team include: supply chain governance, chemical inventory demands, country of origin, shelf life, nom labeling compliance with suppliers, shipping & border restrictions and maintenance.
*responsibilities* - development & training of the mexico supply chain compliance team - work with suppliers and 3rd party resources for product data and compliance - supporting and evolving interdepartmental correspondence - enforcing company policy with regards to supply chain compliance - researching regulations and the applicability to fastenal mexico - writing business impact statements, white papers, and presenting solutions - maintaing regular communication with sales, operations, and support leadership & teams - problem solving and project management - manage data and reporting - using peoplesoft, internet, smartsheet and microsoft office suite regularly (power bi) *required position qualifications* - possess at least 1 year of compliance work experience or relevant field of study (international business, associate's degree in business) - ability to speak fluent spanish & english - proficient using microsoft office suite, especially excel, smart sheets and power bi - demonstrate compliance knowledge.
