from accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth.

we're looking for a finance manager who'll report to the head of accounting.
this is a big deal.
we've recently launched our new finance department in mexico and you, the lucky individual, will be responsible for pulling together the accounts.

*what you'll be doing*
- preparing consolidated gl accounts for mexico holdings and subsidiaries in oracle netsuite
- ensuring compliance with local gaap and ifrs in financial reporting
- supporting accounting and month-end closing processes for the mexico holding and its entities
- ensuring accurate and timely book closing for monthly and annual reporting
- preparing analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts
- supporting the maintenance of accounting policies to ensure they're up to date
- implementing changes to local gaap, ifrs, and group policies
- proposing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting
- driving automation and control initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- participating in annual and interim audits
- providing advice on accounting and reporting issues
- supporting the creation of technical accounting papers
- ensuring proper tracking and follow-up of audit findings
*what you'll need*
- a university degree in management, administration, accounting, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a financial institution in auditing, accounting, or controlling functions
- excellent knowledge of accounting principles
- proven experience with sql and consolidated financial reporting
- excellent analytical skills and a proactive mindset
- experience working in a fast-growing organisation
- great motivation and focus on delivery
