Cybersecurity Engineer II – Python Programmer and Automation
The Home Depot is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer II with 2–4 years of experience in Python programming and automation. This role focuses on building scalable tools and streamlining workflows. AI experience is a plus, and firewall knowledge (especially with Palo Alto and Panorama) is nice to have.
Key Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of Python development and automation experience
- Strong problem‑solving and scripting skills
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies preferred
- Familiarity with firewall configuration and log analysis is a bonus
- Experience with tools like Git, Tableau, and Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver execution & problem solving—collaborate with Enterprise Technology to configure and integrate cybersecurity systems that mitigate risk; troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated incidents; design, build, configure, maintain, monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management; coordinate integration and collaboration with managed security providers; investigate and recommend corrective actions related to incidents.
Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older.
