Product Sales Manager

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and other communication within assigned accounts.
- Secures opportunities to quote on customer requirements within assigned accounts.
- Follows up on quotations submitted to customers within assigned accounts.
- Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, mill management, etc.).
- Submits weekly activity/call reports concerning customer related activities for quotes, orders, and issues relative to customer/vendor relationship.
- Provides a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts.
- Provides competitor analysis within assigned accounts.
- Assist in collection of accounts receivable.
- Assist in data collection/distribution of marketing/sales/product launch/
- Assist in distribution/collection of customer satisfaction survey.
- Performs nip impressions, roll audits, parts inventories and evaluations and other evaluations at assigned accounts.
- Performs all other assigned duties within assigned accounts.
- Travel is required for this job.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven ability to define problems, gather and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram form, and to manage both abstract and concrete variables.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Proficiency in PC usage and software applications.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of the papermaking process, as well as paper machinery design and manufacturing.
- Desirable, knowledge of stock preparation systems, including pulpers, refiners, pressure screens, filtration equipment, and related components.
