job responsibilities:
* drive strategic growth: spearhead the s&op cycle, transforming sales forecasts into actionable demand plans that directly influence our market performance and financial objectives.
* optimize performance: conduct in-depth analysis of 'sell-in' sales by client and sku, proactively identifying critical risks and untapped opportunities to maximize revenue and market share.
* forge strong partnerships: lead negotiations and set ambitious 'sell-in' targets with key account managers (kams) and key clients, fostering collaborative relationships that drive mutual success.
* lead and empower: mentor and guide a talented team ensuring seamless execution and adherence to strategic plans.
* shape the future: develop and implement the annual 'sell-in' strategy and product purchasing budget, directly aligning with the general management's overarching business goals.
profile:
* an experienced professional with 7-10 years in demand planning, supply chain, or sales management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is highly valued.
* a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of forecasting and demand planning models (statistical forecasting), s&op processes, and erp systems (e.g., sap, apo, anaplan).
* an advanced excel guru with strong analytical skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
* a natural leader with advanced team leadership, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills, coupled with effective strategic communication.
* knowledgeable about the retail market in mexico, with a keen eye for market dynamics and trends.
* certified in supply chain (e.g., apics, cscp) or s&op methodologies is a plus.
