Payroll Manager
Position Objective
The Payroll Manager is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all payroll processes for site employees. This role ensures adherence to internal controls, local labor laws, and company policies, while also driving process improvements, employee experience, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the site (weekly, biweekly, or applicable).
- Validate and authorize payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, variable pay, and leaves.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of salary payments, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor laws (LFT), IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Maintain and enforce payroll control procedures, including audit trails and documentation.
- Partner with internal audit, finance, and legal to address any audit findings or risks.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards and HR teams to ensure aligned and error‑free data flow.
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors, system providers, and tax consultants as needed.
- Act as a key point of contact regarding payroll-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and drive automation.
- Support implementation and optimization of payroll systems.
- Lead or participate in regional and cross‑site payroll initiatives.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports, KPIs, and ad‑hoc analysis for site and regional leadership.
- Reconcile payroll data with accounting and finance systems.
- Follow BRP values and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
- Enforce Quality BRP policy.
- Ensure a good work environment by following up the Officevibe tool.
