About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Developer at Uber Freight, you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by focusing on ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software products that power the logistics network connecting shippers and carriers. You’ll work closely with Application Development Managers, and Application Developers to deliver systems that optimize pricing, routing, and operational workflows. Your work will directly impact thousands of freight movements every day, and you’ll help define the long-term technical vision for our platform.
What the Candidate Will Do
Create a test plan; create regression tests for new requirements
Help validate user requirements
Automate tests
Validate that developments adhere to internal code standards and industry best practices
Act as a Release Manager for developments
Basic Qualifications
1-3 years of QA development
Ability to conduct analysis to detect flaws and implement improvements
Experience with creating test plans
Experience with creating regression tests for new requirements
Experience in helping validate user requirements
Experience with automated testing
Creative mindset
Results-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience in reviewing ticket boards, planning and documentation review.
Knowledgeable in downloading repositories from the GitHub platform, and start tests by running diagnostic tools such as Veracode or any other testing tool. Documentation experience.
