job description
this position will assist in managing and assessing the legal affairs of dyno nobel mexico with a focus on labor, employment, and governance matters.
key responsibilities:
* ensure compliance with applicable ipl standards and legal requirements.
* support interactions and negotiations with labor unions, including cba negotiations, employee disciplinary actions, and terminations.
* manage regulatory claims and proceedings, and internal and external investigations with efficient use of resources.
* participate in providing governance and direction to the dyno nobel mexico business as a member of the mexican leadership team.
* provide training on governance standards, policies, and programs to employees.
* offer legal support for various projects.
* address legal and commercial issues and business requests professionally and timely.
requirements
* legal degree from an accredited university.
* applicable licenses and permissions to practice law.
* 5-10 years of experience in relevant areas, including corporate governance and labor/employment.
* strong preference given to experience with governance and labor unions.
* ability to work efficiently, diplomatically, and collaboratively as part of a team.
* proficiency in english.
