Key responsibilities:
the ideal candidate will design, implement and improve industrial processes to optimize production efficiency, quality, safety and profitability. You will transform raw materials into finished products, meet production targets and adhere to regulations.
main activities:
* develop activities involving production processes, customer requirements, process problems using statistics and analysis techniques, and continuous improvement tools.
* participate in programs to reduce variation and waste, applying lean manufacturing methodologies.
* ensure equipment-related activities meet safety, quality, and cost specifications, meeting deadlines to avoid impacting customers.
* modify layouts considering hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical installations, air, water, and drainage emissions.
* support experimental runs to evaluate improvements and changes for new or existing products or processes.
* monitor causes of waste and downtime, develop a continuous improvement plan using statistical tools.
* manage important projects within assigned areas, fostering analysis and improvement skills.
* review and approve technical documentation, design manufacturing processes, establish operating procedures, and implement improvements.
required skills:
* knowledge of statistics, data analysis, minitab, pareto charts, plot charts.
* familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.
* proficiency in core tools knowledge.
* experience with autocad and/or solidworks.
