Global Opportunity
This role is a integral opportunity that requires a 4 hour overlap with US Mountain Time.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain our customer facing web application
- Work with product teams to help make lean UX decisions
- Own implementation of new features from frontend to backend.
- Build and maintain new features for our API product
- Build, integrate, and maintain related RESTful web services to support diverse application requirements
- Design and optimize relational databases, queries, and data structures using PSQL and other No-SQL data stores.
- Contribute to our worker services responsible for processing billions of events monthly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect, build and deploy new features in AWS and other cloud providers we utilize
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems for performance and security
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web application development using languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, Typescript, React, HTML, and MySQL
- Expertise in designing and implementing application architectures that are highly scalable, reliable, and secure
- Solid understanding of relational databases, including design, querying, and optimization
- Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with task queue technologies such as Celery and familiarity with scalable distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployments
- Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like GitHub Actions
- Knowledge with no-sql databases such as OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for building search functionalities
- Good UI/UX skills, able to call out improvements in product
