position objective
the global trade service analyst is responsible for executing all aspects of import/export (including virtual) customs activity in brp queretaro. The role is primarily responsible for clearing the import and export shipments, maintaining electronic archiving, generating reports, and processing all activities in compliance with mexican customs regulations, including immex regulations and others.
your key responsibilities
* create value and agility while maintaining high compliance standards in operations.
* monitor shipment arrivals at ports of entry.
* process import and export customs invoices in a timely manner.
* ensure timely customs clearance, mitigate additional expenses, and coordinate transport assignments to avoid delays.
* close all pedimentos with the broker and record them into the system promptly.
* maintain complete recordkeeping for each operation.
* produce and update reports on imports and exports, including kpi reports.
* apply customs laws and regulations to each operation; manage notifications to authorities and support new product development.
* support fixed asset transfers.
* follow brp values and behaviours.
* ensure a safe work environment and uphold all safety responsibilities; enforce brp quality policy.
* collaborate positively within the team using the officevibe tool.
