The role the role is for a business development representative to prospect and contact potential clients through various channels with the goal of scheduling discovery calls on behalf of our sales people. Valatam's clients are growing us and canadian businesses with remote entry‑level vacancies or a high volume of computer/telephone tasks. Provided your work generates 5 qualified sales calls per week, you are free to work as and when you please. Until this kpi is met you are expected to complete the following activities: adding 40 vetted leads to our outreach tool (apollo.io) personalized email sequences & linkedin sequences daily keeping hubspot crm updated making 100 phone calls daily high‑touch manual outreach manual follow‑ups by phone/email/linkedin tracking activities daily in a scorecard daily huddles and weekly feedback sessions with the rest of the team experimenting with fb/twitter outreach community and awareness building (responding to quora, linkedin, blog posts recommending our services) attend sales huddles and trainings with enthusiasm, a genuine love for sales and a yearning for learning requirements c1/c2 english writing and speaking skills experience with hubspot, apollo.io, or similar tools 1 years of bdr and sales cold‑calling experience to set sales appointments independent, problem solver, adaptable, and great communication skills. Must love cold‑calling and the art of selling a quiet home office with a desk and office chair stable internet with at least 10 mbps download & 2 mbps upload speed a laptop/desktop with 8 gb ram, a 1.6 ghz processor, and 50 gb of free hard‑drive space, a headset, and a smartphone access to a quiet "home office" access to a backup place of work in case of power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, multibam, wipod, etc.) Benefits work‑from‑home, fully remote positions.
