the literature teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous, and thought-provoking instruction in literature at the high school level. The teacher fosters a love of reading, writing, and critical analysis, guiding students to explore classic and contemporary texts from diverse cultures and perspectives. This role supports the development of students' language, communication, and analytical skills, preparing them for higher education and lifelong learning.

* plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic lessons in literature aligned with the school's curriculum and academic standards.
teach literary genres including poetry, drama, prose, and novels, highlighting historical and cultural contexts.
develop students' critical reading, writing, and analytical skills through essays, discussions, and projects.
encourage independent thought, creativity, and appreciation for literature as an art form.
assess, record, and report student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support.
differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement.
prepare students for internal assessments, standardized exams, and academic competitions.

* experience in developing lesson plans and evaluating student writing and analysis.
* background in curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects preferred.
