MS (ATM) Commercial Director - Mexico

The MS Market Unit Mexico Director will drive the expansion of the ATM Managed Services (MS ATM) business in Mexico, accelerating revenue, developing the ATM outsourcing ecosystem, strengthening customer relationships, and building local capabilities to scale a high-growth business.
This role requires an expert in the ATM industry — retail and FI — able to influence senior executives, lead complex sales cycles, design integrated outsourcing solutions, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver flawless execution.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Deliver and exceed the MS ATM revenue target.
- Build, qualify and manage a strong commercial pipeline.
- Promote the MS ATM solution across banks, financial institutions, fintechs, retailers, and new institutional prospects.
- Lead end-to-end consultative sales cycles:
- prospecting, discovery, due diligence
- proposal development, executive presentations
- contract structuring and negotiation
- closing large-scale outsourcing deals
- Recalibrate commercial strategies according to market trends, customer needs and competitive insights.
Subject Matter Expertise (SME)
- Act as the regional SME for ATM Managed Services, FI and Retail ATM deployments, ATM outsourcing models, card schemes and processing networks.
- Support country and market leaders in designing technical and commercial solutions.
- Provide guidance for onboarding new clients into the AMS platform, ensuring operational excellence.
Organizational Development & Scaling
- Strengthen local AMS capabilities and structure teams for scalable growth.
- Develop talent within the 3-hunter team, elevating consultative and solution-selling maturity.
- Act as the liaison between customers and cross-functional areas: Operations, Technology, Cash Management, Finance, Legal, Security, and Corporate teams.
- Support the development of business plans and long-term expansion strategies.
Customer Relationship & Excellence
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and expansion.
- Build and manage senior-level relationships with banks, government entities, retailers and acquiring partners.
- Promote the transformation of traditional ATM services into a fully integrated outsourcing model.
Measures of Success (Year 1)
- Achieve the MS ATM revenue target.
- Expand the pipeline with significant FI and retail opportunities.
- Strengthen the capability and performance of the AMS hunters team.
- Position Brink’s as a leading reference in integrated ATM Managed Services in Mexico.
- Support accelerated growth projections over the next 5 years.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in the ATM / Banking / Electronic Payments / Mission-critical platforms industry.
- Proven experience in consultative and solution selling (B2B & B2C).
- Background in FI services, ATM manufacturers, banking software providers, outsourcing companies, or financial institutions.
- Experience closing large-scale outsourcing contracts.
- Strong network within the banking and financial ecosystem in Mexico.
- Fluent English (B2+); desirable PMP certification.
- Knowledge of ATM networks, switches, monitoring, troubleshooting, electronic security, telecom, and cash management.
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
