Job Description:
The Junior Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive "hunter" approach to develop and execute client acquisition strategies, nurture growing relationships, and recover lost accounts—driving the company's growth and market expansion.
Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective strategies for new client acquisition.
- Research and analyze the market to identify trends and areas of opportunity.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, managing the onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition.
Contract Negotiation and Closing:
- Negotiate terms and conditions with new clients.
- Close business deals that benefit both parties and ensure customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations departments to align and support business development initiatives.
- Participate in strategic meetings to align business development goals with the company's overall objectives.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on progress and performance against set targets.
Qualifications and Experience:

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
- Results-driven and able to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of the maritime and transportation industry.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in client prospecting and acquisition, preferably in the maritime transport or logistics industry.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Other languages are a plus.
