purpose of the position
support and enhance eureka!'S financial performance by providing clear insights, strong analytical capabilities, and operational understanding. This role reports directly to the cfo and collaborates closely with operations, accounting,
and the leadership team.
key responsibilities
- prepare and analyze weekly p, daily sales reports, weekly cash flow, and monthly financial statements.
- monitor unit-level margins and flag variances proactively.
- collaborate with operations leadership to understand trends, implement controls, and track improvements.
- consolidate information from our software ecosystem and develop executive-ready models and reports.
- create kpi dashboards, executive summaries, and ad-hoc analyses for the cfo.
- support annual budgeting, 13-week rolling forecasts, and profitability assessments.
- contribute to continuous improvement within ap, po approvals, cost controls, and month-end close.
- gain operational understanding by working directly with restaurant teams when needed.
qualifications
- displays passion for eureka!'S values and culture — energy, discovery, community.
- 3–6 years of experience in finance, fp, operational analysis, or financial control.
- advanced excel skills; experience with restaurant365 is a major plus.
- ability to work under pressure and meet weekly and monthly deadlines with accuracy.
- strong communicator who can transform numbers into stories.
- highly proactive — someone who investigates, asks questions, and builds solutions from the ground up.

physical demands & work environment
this role may occasionally require time on-site at restaurant locations to observe operations, validate data inputs, and understand process workflows. Fast-paced environments, frequent communication across teams, and balancing multiple deadlines are part of the daily rhythm.
