Job Objective:
To plan, implement, and oversee the company's technology infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing networks, systems, cybersecurity, the IT budget, and leading the technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategic Planning:
- Define the technology vision aligned with business objectives.
- Develop plans for digital transformation, automation, and systems modernization.
- Evaluate technology trends and their applicability within the organization.
Infrastructure Management:
- Monitor the operation of networks, servers, databases, operating systems, and enterprise platforms.
- Ensure the availability, scalability, and efficiency of technological resources.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
Information Security:
- Design cybersecurity policies, access control, and data protection.
- Implement threat detection systems, firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption.
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans (BCP/DRP).
Budget and Resources:
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget.
- Evaluate and negotiate with technology, software, and service providers.
- Justify investments through return on investment (ROI) analysis and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership:
- Direct, motivate, and develop the technical team.
- Set individual and team goals and conduct performance reviews.
- Promote ongoing training and professional certification.
Technological Innovation:
- Identify opportunities to improve processes using new digital tools.
- Promote the use of artificial intelligence, data analytics, automation, and cloud solutions.
- Pilot innovation projects and evaluate their impact.
- Develop immediate reports as needed by the organization, using Desk systems, NetSuite, or reporting tools such as Power BI or others.
Interdepartmental collaboration:
- Gather technological needs from other areas (finance, HR, operations, etc.) by implementing a ticketing system with agile response.
- Translate functional requirements into viable technical solutions.
- Act as a bridge between users and developers to ensure usability and functionality.
Job profile
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications: ITIL, PMP, CISSP, COBIT, AWS/Azure, Scrum Master.
- Desirable: Master's degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity
- Minimum 5 years in leadership positions within IT.
- Proven experience in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and leading technical teams.
- Experience in ERP implementation projects, cloud migrations, process automation, and cybersecurity improvements.
Strong Knowledge:
- Networks, servers, databases, virtualization, storage.
- Data protection policies, access management, incident response.
- Agile and traditional methodologies, budget, schedule, and quality control.
- Automation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud computing.
- ERP, CRM (NetSuite preferred), collaborative tools, platform integration.
- Advanced English (C1 level).
